Petie’s Room
Petie's Room is named after and dedicated to Petie, the innkeepers’ beloved mixed terrier-shepherd dog. Petie’s namesake is a spacious room with a queen-size sleigh bed that provides a comfortable night’s sleep and the ideal spot from which to enjoy the fantastic morning light that streams in on sunny mornings. It’s the kind of perch you envision when you daydream about enjoying breakfast and the paper in bed. Numerous antique pieces and a rustic rocking chair complete the back-in-time atmosphere of Petie’s Room.

An intimate outside balcony overlooks three magnolia trees and the private, sloping lawn. Its two comfortable chairs and small table invite you to linger for a glass of wine or two in the early evening. When you’re ready to freshen up, the largest bath in the house offers you the convenience of double marble sinks, a glass-enclosed shower, and a generously sized Jacuzzi tub for extended relaxation and the serious pampering you so deserve.
